It’s that time of year again and the season of change has begun. October 31st was the Annual Half Time Show during the BC Lions and Sask. Rough Riders game, (which BC won by the way) which saw the Cedar Hills Caledonian Pipe Band being one of only two pipe bands to take part in it this year, but it ended up being a great show.
November brings many things for the legion with Poppy Days, Veterans Week, Remembrance Day and of course Executive elections on November 15th and rounding it off will be the Honors and Awards lunch hosted by the Ladies Aux. on the 27th.
Our web site has gone through a couple of changes and now includes live twitter feeds for both the Legion and the Pipe Band, be sure and check them out and follow us on twitter as well. Not only is twitter a great new way to drive interest into the Lounge our facebook page is gaining members as well. Be sure and check them both out.
